Shropshire ASA County Championships - January 2022

48 of our swimmers qualified and competed in the County Championships, between them swimming in 260 events across the various age groups.

Their hard work in training paid off, with many of them achieving PB’s, medals and some also achieving Midland Regional Long Course qualifying times.

A special mention must go to the following swimmers;

• Owen Griffiths – 6 regional times
• Harman Jhawar – 3 regional times
• Charlie Scollard-Kerr – 4 regional times & Silver in the Top Boy category in his age group
• Oliver Winzor – Bronze in the Top Boy category in his age group.

It was an exciting three weekends where all of our amazing swimmers did themselves and the club proud.
