CRUSADER LEAGUE

The Crusader League consists of 3 Competitive Leagues.
The clubs are based around the Potteries area - from Buxton in Derbyshire to Newport & Telford.

Each league competes in 3 galas held in the first few months of each year, taking it in turns to host.
The competition includes individual races and relays.At the end of the competition, the team finishing first will get promoted with the bottom team being relegated. 

League galas are licensed, so that times achieved in individual events can be submitted to the Swim England Rankings database. The teams swim in age groups with are:

• 10 and under
• 12 and under 
• 14 and under 
• Open 

The ages for these leagues are as at a fixed date determined by the last day of the competition each year.
A swimmer must have reached 9 years of age on or before the last day of the competition, usually towards the end of June.
