Senior Squad is where swimmers refine their technique, build endurance, and train with purpose. This squad supports swimmers aiming for county, regional, or national competition, while also nurturing personal growth, discipline, and resilience.
Assessment Criteria
To progress within Senior Squad, swimmers should demonstrate:
Technical Excellence
Legal execution of all strokes over race distances
Efficient starts, turns, and finishes under pressure
Consistent technique across training sets and competition
Mastery of pacing and stroke control
Competition Performance
Regular attendance at licensed meets
Achieving or working toward county/regional qualifying times
Understanding of race strategy, warm-up protocols, and meet preparation
Ability to reflect on performance and set personal goals
Training Commitment
Maintain high attendance and punctuality
Complete challenging sets with focus and effort
Apply coach feedback consistently
Demonstrate leadership, teamwork, and positive attitude
